Mal mit der Klasse in der Schule zu übernachten, steht wohl bei allen Kindern hoch im Kurs. Die Schüler der 5. Klasse organisierten im Januar eine solche Nacht. Damit ihre Klassenlehrerin sich darauf einlässt, mussten sie sich schon ein sinnvolles Thema überlegen. So entschieden sie sich für eine englischsprachige Nacht, in der man nicht nur lesen, sondern auch spielen und einen Film gucken kann.
We started our night at 5 p.m. with a shopping tour to the grocery market opposite the UNIVERSITAS. Then we prepared the dinner and cleaned the dishes after that. Then we played scrabble and twister in English. Afterwards our teacher read a funny story about the Witch Winni. After that we ate potato crisps while we watched the movie „Stripes“ – of course in English. After that it was very late and we were tired. Our teacher read a Good-Night-Story, a second crazy story from Winni and her black cat Wilbur.
We slept very well, ate breakfast the next morning and went home to our families to start the weekend.
Speaking English became easier during the time. We helped each other with English words and corrected mistakes. At least we understood each other most of the time and we had so much fun.
